Privacy Policy — Daily Flight
Last updated: October 10, 2026
Daily Flight ("the game", "we", "us") is a browser and mobile game developed by Abha Lohia. This policy explains what information the game collects, how it is used, and who can see it. It applies to the web version at daily-flight.com and to the Android app.
Playing as a guest
You can play every mode without signing in with Google. When you first play, the game creates an anonymous guest identity for you through Firebase Authentication. No name, email address or photo is attached to it. We store an auto-assigned username (for example a random pilot name), a friend code and any friends you add, your scores, class reached and streak against that identity so that your results can appear on the leaderboards and survive a page reload on the same device. Signing in with Google later links this guest identity to your Google account so the same progress follows you to other devices.
Information we collect when you sign in
When you sign in with Google, Firebase Authentication (a Google service) shares your basic Google account profile with the game: your name, email address and profile photo. We use this only to identify you within the game. We do not send you email and do not use your email address for any other purpose.
Once signed in, you may choose to set the following, which we store in our database (Google Firebase Firestore):
- Username — a display name you choose (defaults to your Google first name if not set)
- Country — a country you select from a list, shown as a flag next to your name
- Friend code and friends list — a code you can share so other players can add you as a friend
- Game scores and stats — your daily and Free Flight scores, class reached, flight time, streak and related in-game statistics
- Profile photo — your Google account photo, shown next to your name on leaderboards
- Notification token — if you turn on push notifications, a device token used only to deliver them; turning notifications off removes it
What is public and what is private
Your username, country flag, profile photo, class and scores are visible to other players on the Global and Friends leaderboards and in friend matches. Your friend code is only shared with people you choose to give it to. We never display your email address in the game or to other players.
Advertising and consent
Daily Flight is free and supported by ads. The web version uses Google AdSense (including rewarded ads you choose to watch for a bonus attempt or a revive, and a small banner). The Android app uses Google AdMob. These Google services may use cookies or device identifiers to show and measure ads, as described in Google's advertising policies.
Where consent is required (for example in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland), a consent message is shown before any personalised ad is served, and you can change your choice at any time from the Privacy Choices link in the game's About panel on the web, or from Settings → Ad privacy in the Android app. Declining personalised ads does not limit any part of the game.
What we do not do
- We do not use third-party analytics trackers beyond what the ad services above require to serve ads.
- We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.
- We do not offer in-app purchases and never ask for payment details.
Local device storage
Some information, such as your sound preferences, your guest scores and your best-run "ghost" replay, is stored only on your own device and is never sent to our servers or shared with anyone.
Error reports
If the game hits a technical error on your device, it sends us a short error report so we can fix it: the error message and where in the game's code it happened, the page you were on, your browser's user-agent string (browser and operating system version), whether you were on the web or the Android app, and the time. Reports are not linked to your account, guest identity, name or email, and only the developer can read them.
Data storage and security
Game data is stored using Google Firebase (Firestore, Authentication and Cloud Messaging), a cloud service operated by Google with its own security and privacy practices. Access to your account data is protected by Firebase security rules that only allow you to modify your own profile and scores.
Data deletion
You can request deletion of your account data at any time by emailing gandhiashish1997@gmail.com from the Google address you signed in with. We will remove your profile, scores, streak and friend data from our database within a reasonable timeframe.
Children's privacy
Daily Flight is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Google's own sign-in requirements also restrict account creation below a minimum age depending on your country.
Changes to this policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date above.
